Police Blotter: Woman Reports Family Heirlooms Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A woman reported to Trenton police that someone stole jewelry valued at more than $3,000 out of her condominium at about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 1300 block of Harbour Drive.
The 24-year-old woman said she began noticing her jewelry missing one week before her roommate moved out of the condo, according to a police report.
She said the roommate, a 32-year-old man, had allegedly stolen her jewelry and used her debit card without permission in the past.
The items reported missing were a gold pendant, a gold locket, a silver antique ring, a gold ring and a sterling silver ring.
The woman told police the pieces of jewelry were family heirlooms given to her by her deceased mother.

I hope they catch him and get her stuff back. That is terrible. I lost my mom at a young age. I couldn't imagine how she feels losing those meaningful items. Yes, it is a terrible lesson to learn. :-(
